Requirements: Program Participants
At least 17 years of age
Located in Athens, Greece
Level B2 English proficiency
Attending the program classes in person.
8-15 participants will be selected for each program series
An on-site placement test will be conducted prior to start date to determine eligibility for program placement
Participants will have access to Global Connect educational resources + tutoring for a duration of 8 months.
Participants will be eligible for Global Connect GED sponsorship for up to 1 year from their first class date

GED PROGRAM
Seírios is an educational program that helps refugees & asylum seekers living in Athens, Greece further their educational and career opportunities through General Education Development (GED).
When passed, this Program provides an equivalent certificate to the U.S. High School Diploma, creating eligibility for participants to apply to Universities in Europe - opening other doors to meaningful further education and career opportunities.
The GED® program is the only higher secondary certificate available in over 85 countries and is accepted by nearly all universities in the U.S. and many across the world

CAREER MENTORING
Career Mentoring is the final element of our holistic self-empowerment program. In addition to the Seírios program, Global Connect courses will simultaneously offer opportunities for vocational mentorship. Allowing participants to connect with professionals in many industries as they learn new, or refine existing skills.
